Lois A Unger

Lois A Unger grew up in rural Saskatchewan and learned about the value and joy of spending time outside with my camera, and how photography is a means of communication. As a photoartist, Lois has a unique style of energy while focusing on capturing emotions about travel, historic, and nature and has received multiple awards. Lois has attended a few residencies and each time is more inspired to expand her images into published greeting cards, magnets, calendars, magazines, stock and more. Lois has presented her work in solo and group art shows locally and beyond. A huge honour was when Tourism Saskatchewan chose her genre.

Lois is also a voiceover actor for radio and tv ads, has appeared in music videos and films and modeling in brand photoshoots. A huge music lover, you may also find me exploring in nature, hiking, and mornings are better with flavored coffee and peanut butter!. Lois has also studied in yoga, mind body connection and healthy fit lifestyles. Everyday I am grateful to become a even more FabuLois!!.

I love the sky and the many cloud formations. I feel there are hidden messages from the universe. My project would be titled THE SKY WITH NO LIMITS. It's amazing to see the difference throughout the day and night. Recently I have begun to follow the moon more closely and how the various phases impact people, animals and nature. Stars are also a delight. On this special project I would focus on the sky and where the sky and land meet on the horizon. Images take on a different story from this angle. It is often more dramatic. I really like alot of deep vibrant color and how this impacts the viewer. I would also work on exploring the land and the many facets it holds-blades of grass, worn paths, remnants of forgotten history in the environment and just being in nature.
