I am inspired by the Baroque period. My work often references the Memento Mori philosophy "be aware all beauty fades and death is inevitable". A reminder to cherish daily.

The paintings below are all sold so they are examples.

I am retired and paint for my own enjoyment. It feels very nice when someone is touched by a piece deeply enough to want to live with it, but this no longer drives my creation.

I graduated from the Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design in 2000. I have shown nationally and internationally and my paintings are in private collections.
