Alexia Normand
Whether she’s performing her jazz-folk melodies in English or French, Alexis Normand’s voice is be both smooth and soulful. Recently named Francophone Artist of the Year by the Western Canadian Music Awards, Alexis has also been nominated for several other awards including a Canadian Folk Music Award and a Lieutenant Governor’s Arts Award in Saskatchewan. In addition to being an accomplished singer-songwriter, Alexis is a multi-instrumentalist and was member of the internationally-touring folk trio, Rosie & the Riveters. The band recorded three albums – the most recent of which was released in 2018 to critical acclaim. Ms. Behave remained in the Top 10 USA folk music charts for 17 weeks. It peaked at #3 on the CBC Radio 2 Top 20, was featured in publications such as Billboard Magazine and Rolling Stone and was supported by hundreds of performances across Canada, the United States and Europe.
