Winner of the 2025 Wallace Stegner Grant for the Arts

Darrin Hagen is a multidisciplinary writer and creator from Edmonton. He is arriving in Eastend days after opening a new opera, touring his documentary to Europe, and completing his term as Lee Playwright in Residence at University of Alberta. He will be working on a book-length adaptation of his play Witch Hunt at the Strand. He may be travelling with an accordion. You have been warned.
